Your Voice Matters: Interview Invitation for Latin American Women in Germany

Contribute to research on protection measures against domestic violence

As part of the “Deep Dive Germany” within the PROTEMO project, we are conducting research at Saarland University on how protection measures against domestic violence work in practice.

We focus on the experiences of migrant women who have sought support within the German protection system and invite Latin American women living in Germany who have experienced domestic violence to share their experiences in a confidential interview.

What is the research about?

  • How migrant women accessed support and protection services
  • Whether their needs and emotional realities were adequately considered
  • What barriers they encountered
  • How protection measures can be improved to become more inclusive and sensitive

The aim is to strengthen protection systems and contribute to more effective and sensitive support structures.

Participation involves:

  • A voluntary individual interview
  • Conducted in a safe and respectful setting
  • Online or in person (depending on preference)

Your participation is entirely voluntary, the interview is fully confidential, and your identity will be strictly protected.

Why participate?

Your experience can help improve policies and support practices in Germany and contribute to better protection for other women in the future.
