The Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPAN) is a scientific institution that conducts basic and applied research projects and mentors a pool of highly qualified scientists. IPPAN is fully accredited to grant doctoral degrees and habilitations.

IPPAS has experience with cooperation in international projects (e.g., 6th EU-framework, HORIZON 2020, NORFACE, GRIEG, and others). In 2016, as the first Polish institution in social sciences, the Institute of Psychology PAN was awarded with „HR Excellence in Research” logo by the European Commission.

Role within PROTEMO

The part of the PROTEMO project led by Katarzyna Hamer from IPPAN will mostly focus on two tasks:

  1. A 3-wave survey on representative samples from 11 countries (Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Israel, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, and the UK), including experimental parts.
  2. Analysis of collected data from the PROTEMO survey and experiments using quantitative methods.
